Cinco Medical — Inside and out.

Dr Kai Cinco began her career in critical care, where medicine is at its most urgent and least forgiving. It taught her to think clearly under pressure — and convinced her that the most important work happens much earlier, long before anyone reaches an emergency department. Everything since has been a step further upstream.

A graduate of the University of the Philippines' Intarmed program, where she finished cum laude, she moved into general practice in Australia and built a decade of work around skin: skin cancer medicine and surgery first, then cosmetic medicine on the Sunshine Coast, and later advanced procedures including liposuction and fat transfer after relocating to the Gold Coast.

Her interests have since widened, and much of her work has moved into building and leading clinical organisations. She was a co-owner of Green Life Clinics and Dispensaries and its first Chief Medical Officer, stepping down in early 2026. She went on to co-found Third Spring Medical, a practice devoted to functional and restorative medicine.

Today her clinical work spans ADHD care, functional medicine, rural and remote telehealth, and cosmetic procedures, and she continues to hold clinical governance roles across several healthcare organisations. Alongside her partner she has founded several health technology companies — she is as interested in how care reaches people as in the care itself.

Cinco Medical is deliberately small. You see Dr Kai, every time. And once a month she still goes back to the Sunshine Coast for the patients who have been with her from the start.
